Description
Spelt (Triticum spelta) is an ancient grain, different to wheat (Triticum sativum), barley and oats. It is gaining a resurgence across the world. We have amended our approach as we have worked with this flour. We use wholemeal spelt flour That is the organic offering from Talgarth Mill.
The bread is made with a slow proofing overnight and dusted with spelt flour.
Freezes well, as do all our breads.
