For Christmas, how about trying our Cranberry Welsh Cakes, which still follow the original recipe of Glenys Lewis, our elderly neighbour for many years, who has sadly passed away. She gave her recipe to Viv many years ago but Viv has now amended the recipe further to produce new free-from options: a gluten-free version, a vegan (egg-free, dairy-free) version and also a vegan gluten-free version of the traditional Welsh Cake and with the fruit component changed to cranberries.
Welsh cakes can be kept in the freezer, if you want them to last a little longer.
